Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear rules for trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.

This policy describes the approved Daily Routine Help subscription direction for launch through Google Play Billing.

Google Play Billing

Initial launch subscriptions are planned through Google Play Billing only. The website does not directly sell subscriptions at launch.

Fourteen-day trial

Eligible customers select monthly or annual billing before starting a 14-day Google Play trial. A payment method is required, and the trial automatically converts to the selected paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

Before the trial starts

Customers must be shown the future recurring price, monthly or annual billing interval, exact trial end date, and automatic-renewal and automatic-charge disclosure before confirmation.

Trial cancellation

Canceling before the trial ends prevents the first paid charge. Reinstalling the app, changing devices, or clearing local data does not restart trial eligibility.

Who may permanently cancel

Only the household Billing Owner may permanently cancel the subscription. Parent or Guardian status alone does not grant permanent cancellation authority.

When cancellation takes effect

Cancellation stops future renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The customer should see the exact date paid access ends.

Access after cancellation

Paid access normally continues through the paid-through date. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

Resume before expiration

The Billing Owner or an authorized Billing Manager may resume a scheduled cancellation before the current paid period fully expires.

General refund rule

Subscription payments are generally nonrefundable. There is no automatic prorated refund, cash refund, or account credit for unused time after cancellation.

Possible refund exceptions

Exceptions may be reviewed when required by law or Google Play, for a verified duplicate charge, verified unauthorized charge, material failure to provide the paid service, or an Owner-approved exceptional correction.

Who may approve exceptions

Billing Managers and ordinary Guardians cannot approve refunds. Protected refund exceptions require the approved authority and applicable Google Play process.

Payment failure and grace period

Google Play handles retries and payment recovery. DRH provides a seven-day grace period after the first confirmed payment failure. Normal paid access continues during that period.

After unresolved payment failure

After seven unresolved days, normal paid access turns off. No late fee is added.

Your information remains saved

Your household information will remain saved if trial or paid access ends. Essential account, billing, privacy, support, data export, deletion, and logout controls remain available where legally and technically appropriate.

Google Play requirements

Purchases, cancellations, and refunds may also be governed by Google Play requirements and applicable law. Where those requirements conflict with this policy, the applicable platform or legal requirement controls.
